Auto Parts Co. Says Mass. Discrimination Claim Preempted

Law360, New York (July 25, 2013, 6:33 PM ET) -- U.S. Tsubaki Holdings Inc. filed a lawsuit Thursday in Massachusetts that seeks to prevent state regulators from pursuing a claim that the automotive parts manufacturer violated state discrimination law when it denied health care coverage to an employee's same-sex spouse, arguing federal employment law blocks regulators' enforcement efforts.
