EU Says China Open To Talks On Wine, Polysilicon Probes

Law360, New York (July 29, 2013, 2:26 PM EDT) -- The European Union and China have agreed to negotiate a possible resolution to claims that Europe is dumping wine and solar-grade polysilicon on the Chinese market, EU Trade Commissioner Karel De Gucht said Monday.

Chinese and European officials have agreed to hold settlement discussions before Beijing goes forward with any potential trade measures on imported wine or polysilicon, a key component of solar panels, De Gucht said during a press conference in Brussels.
