NLRB Judge Strikes Down Boeing Policy On HR Investigations

Law360, New York (July 29, 2013, 7:23 PM ET) -- A National Labor Relations Board judge ruled Friday that The Boeing Co.'s policy of asking employees involved in workplace investigations to keep them confidential ran afoul of federal labor law in light of recent board decisions.

Administrative Law Judge Jeffrey D. Wedekind ruled that Boeing's original policy and an updated policy, which Boeing instituted after employee Joanna Gamble filed an unfair labor practice charge over the policy, violated the National Labor Relations Act.
