Jailed AIG Exec Denied Shorter Term For Horse Farm Fraud

Law360, New York (July 29, 2013, 6:20 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge declined Friday to grant early release to a former American International Group Inc. and Deutsche Bank AG executive serving prison time after pleading guilty to siphoning hundreds of thousands of dollars from her employers to fund her ex-husband’s horse farm.

U.S. District Judge John F. Keenan denied Heidi Walker’s bid for a reduction of her nine-month prison sentence, which Walker had requested so that she could care for an ailing parent, according to a brief order.
