FedEx Plaintiffs To Get Half Of Bias Settlement Fund

Law360, New York (February 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Plaintiffs in several Fed Ex employment discrimination cases will receive at least half of their settlement money, after a federal judge on Monday decided to interplead 50% of a $4.5 million settlement fund while litigation over a contracted fee dispute rages on.

Within the last year, plaintiffs attorney Waukeen McCoy won three discrimination cases against FedEx — a sexual discrimination case and two race discrimination suits.
