Lesbian Spouse Wins Cozen Benefits Case In Wake Of Windsor

Law360, Los Angeles (July 29, 2013, 10:41 PM ET) -- Law firm Cozen O’Connor PC will pay death benefits to the same-sex spouse of a deceased employee after a Pennsylvania federal court declared her eligible on Monday in the first such ERISA ruling since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned an aspect of the Defense of Marriage Act.
