Ex-Employees Can't Enter Private FLSA Deals, 11th Circ. Says

Law360, New York (July 30, 2013, 4:56 PM ET) -- The Eleventh Circuit ruled Monday that its oft-cited precedent establishing that Fair Labor Standards Act settlements must be supervised by a court or the Department of Labor applies even in cases where the employee no longer works for the employer.
