Spain Targets BP, Others In Auto Fuel Antitrust Probe

Law360, New York (July 30, 2013, 5:04 PM ET) -- Spain's antitrust watchdog opened a formal case Tuesday against Repsol SA, BP PLC's local unit and several other energy companies based on concerns that they may have fixed prices for auto fuel in the country.

Less than a week after raiding more energy companies, the National Competition Commission, or CNC, said it had reason to believe the companies might have coordinated prices and shared confidential business information.
