Miami Beach Sues To Clear Path For Convention Center Plan

Law360, Miami (July 30, 2013, 5:40 PM ET) -- The city of Miami Beach filed a complaint Monday seeking expedited declaratory relief, saying a proposed amendment to the city charter that could hinder approval of the $1 billion city convention center redevelopment also on the November ballot does not apply retroactively to that project.
