Co-CEOs Blur Lines In Mergers Of Equals

Law360, New York (July 30, 2013, 8:32 PM ET) -- Omnicom Group Inc. and Publicis Groupe SA's co-CEO plan offers one solution to the problem of leading a “merger of equals,” but while it may make for a smoother wedding, the company could be in for a rocky marriage.

For the advertising giants, the chief executive tag team is one of several provisions meant to underscore the $35 billion deal's billing as a merger of true peers, despite Omnicom's higher revenues.
