Northwestern Pays $3M To Settle NIH Grant Fraud Suit

Law360, New York (July 30, 2013, 4:29 PM ET) -- Northwestern University will pay just under $3 million to settle an Illinois whistleblower suit accusing one of its former researchers of misusing funds from a National Institutes of Health cancer research grant, the U.S. Department of Justice said Tuesday.
