ACA Employer Mandate Delay To Cost Gov't $12B: CBO

Law360, New York (July 30, 2013, 8:02 PM ET) -- The yearlong delay in the implementation of the Affordable Care Act’s employer mandate announced earlier this month will cost the federal government a total of $12 billion, mostly in lost employer penalties, over a 10-year period ending in 2023, according to a Tuesday report by the Congressional Budget Office.
