Arbitrators Limited On Fees Rulings, Fla. Appeals Court Says

Law360, Miami (July 31, 2013, 6:11 PM ET) -- A Florida appeals court found Wednesday that arbitrators had exceeded their powers when they ruled on attorneys' fees in a fired financial adviser's case against his former employer, Banc of America Investment Services Inc., because he hadn't waived his state law right to have a court hear the issue.
