Consumers Urge Judge To Rethink Chobani Labeling Ruling

Law360, New York (July 31, 2013, 6:57 PM ET) -- Consumers in a proposed food labeling class action against Chobani Inc. asked a California federal judge on Wednesday to reconsider her ruling largely dismissing the lawsuit, contending she misapplied state consumer protection law.

The plaintiffs urged U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh to grant them leave to file a motion to reconsider portions of a July 12 order in the suit, which claimed yogurt sold by Chobani was mislabeled as "all natural" and contained no added sugar.
