AT&T Beats Back $30M Claim Over T-Mobile Merger Deal

Law360, Dallas (August 1, 2013, 1:34 PM EDT) -- A Texas appeals court on Wednesday threw out a $30 million claim against AT&T Inc. from a German private equity firm that claimed it was hired to do research for AT&T’s bid to acquire T-Mobile USA Inc., finding the firm couldn’t prove it was defrauded into doing the work.
