Boeing Lands $2B Navy Contract For Poseidon Aircraft

Law360, New York (August 2, 2013, 1:59 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Navy has handed Boeing Co. a $1.98 billion contract for 13 P-8A Poseidon aircraft, the company said Thursday, the latest addition to the 117 of the surveillance and anti-submarine planes the Navy is expected to buy to replace its aging fleet of Lockheed Martin’s P-3 Orions.
