Court Won't Open Lawyers' Files To Ex-Westar Exec

Law360, New York (February 6, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A judge has rebuffed a former Westar Energy Inc. executive's bid to access documents produced by his former employer's counsel. The executive hoped to find evidence that the company helped the government in the fraud case against him in order to escape being prosecuted itself.
