EU OKs $11B American-US Airways Merger With Conditions

Law360, New York (August 05, 2013, 3:06 PM ET) -- The European Commission signed off Monday on US Airways Group Inc. and AMR Corp.'s American Airlines Inc.'s $11 billion merger on the condition that the carriers shed a pair of slots at London's Heathrow Airport to promote competition on flights to Philadelphia.
