Gas Group Urges DOE To Snuff Gulf LNG Export Bid

Law360, New York (August 6, 2013, 3:23 PM EDT) -- A trade group representing public gas systems urged the U.S. Department of Energy on Monday to deny Freeport-McMoRan Energy LLC's application to export liquefied natural gas through a proposed facility in the Gulf of Mexico, saying it would raise gas and electricity prices for U.S. consumers and manufacturers.
