Gibson, US Development Group To Build Alberta Rail Terminal

Law360, New York (August 7, 2013, 2:53 PM EDT) -- Canadian midstream energy company Gibson Energy Inc. and Texas-based energy infrastructure firm U.S. Development Group LLC have formed a joint venture to build a rail loading terminal to connect to Gibson's main terminal in Alberta, the companies said late Tuesday.

USDG and Gibson will build the unit train rail loading terminal near Hardisty, Alberta, near the site of Gibson's terminal for its Alberta oil sands operations. The terminal will be able to handle multiple grades of crude oil and have an initial capacity of 140,000 barrels...
