Pfizer Can't Escape Neurontin Antitrust MDL

Law360, New York (August 8, 2013, 3:37 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey federal judge on Thursday refused Pfizer Inc.'s bid to squash a multidistrict litigation accusing the pharmaceutical giant of conspiring to bar competition for its epilepsy treatment Neurontin and promoting off-label uses, saying there are many factual disputes that must be resolved. 

Pfizer had sought summary judgment on all claims in the suit while a group of direct purchaser plaintiffs wanted a summary judgment ruling on their allegations that Pfizer possessed monopoly power. But U.S. District Judge Faith S. Hochberg struck both sides' requests...
