Oregon ACA Exchange To Use Agents In Early Rollout

Law360, Los Angeles (August 9, 2013, 10:45 PM ET) -- Oregon’s state-run health insurance exchange will require customers to work with agents and community partners for the first few weeks of its rollout, a state official told Law360 on Friday.

Cover Oregon, the exchange mandated by a portion of the Affordable Care Act, will enable Oregonians to apply for health insurance beginning Oct. 1 through certified partners that have been trained to use the system, program spokeswoman Lisa Morowski told Law360 on Friday.
