SF Air Rules Don't Need Enviro Report, Appeals Court Finds

Law360, Los Angeles (August 13, 2013, 10:32 PM ET) -- A California appeals court ruled Tuesday that a San Francisco agency didn't have to prepare an environmental impact report for new emissions regulations because it had already compiled related scientific reports, conducted workshops and held hearings.

Reversing a trial court decision, the First Appellate District found that a report would have produced results similar to those of a review process the Bay Area Air Quality Management District had already conducted over the rules, which were approved in 2010.
