Publicis Blasts PR Employees' Sex Bias Cert. Bid

Law360, New York (August 14, 2013, 2:06 PM ET) -- Publicis Groupe SA urged a New York federal court Tuesday to deny class certification in a suit alleging its subsidiary MSLGroup paid female public relations employees less than their male counterparts, denying the discrimination claims.

MSLGroup told the court that the plaintiffs have fallen well short of proving the existence of a companywide policy to deny female employees equal compensation and that pay decisions varied from office to office.
