Fed. Circ. Says Prior Sale Offer Burns Slow Cooker Patent

Law360, New York (August 14, 2013, 4:54 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit on Wednesday ruled a Hamilton Beach Brands Inc. patent related to its Stay or Go slow cooker is invalid because its foreign supplier offered to sell the company a version of the product more than a year before the patent application was filed.
