Novartis Opens Probe Into Whistleblower's Kickback Claims

Law360, New York (August 14, 2013, 7:55 PM ET) -- Novartis AG said Wednesday that it had launched an internal probe after one of its former employees in China filed a complaint alleging that the company had paid kickbacks and encouraged doctors to make off-label prescriptions to drive sales of cancer drug Sandostatin.
