$1.1B Deal Will Bring Sydney Airport Under 1 Owner

Law360, New York (August 14, 2013, 6:34 PM EDT) -- Sydney Airport Holdings Ltd. has taken complete ownership of its eponymous infrastructure asset Sydney Airport, after buying out minority shareholders in a roughly AU$1.2 billion ($1.1 billion) deal, according to Wednesday regulatory filings.

Per the complex deal, the company will acquire the 15.2 percent of minority stakes it doesn't own in the airport through stock swaps and equity placement, according to a filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
