Japan's Funai Infringed LSI Corp. Patent, ITC Judge Says

Law360, New York (August 15, 2013, 7:23 PM ET) -- Japan-based electronics maker Funai Electric Co. Ltd. is facing a possible import ban on certain products after a U.S. International Trade Commission judge determined the company has infringed an LSI Corp. patent, according to decisions made publicly available this week.

ITC Administrative Law Judge David P. Shaw has made an initial determination that certain Funai products incorporate technology that violates LSI's U.S. Patent Number 5,870,087.
