FTC Open To Industry Input On COPPA Compliance

Law360, New York (August 19, 2013, 10:29 PM ET) -- The Federal Trade Commission recently offered support for a new industry mechanism for determining if a website is directed toward children, an olive branch that gives companies hope that the agency will afford them a real role in shaping compliance standards for its online privacy rule for children.
