Windsor Proves Court Erred In Booting Gay Juror, GSK Says

Law360, New York (August 16, 2013, 11:02 PM ET) -- GlaxoSmithKline PLC told the Ninth Circuit on Wednesday that a potential juror was improperly barred from hearing its antitrust case against Abbott Laboratories over an HIV drug because he was gay and that in light of the Supreme Court's recent ruling on the Defense of Marriage Act, the juror belonged to a protected class and should not have been excluded.
