Tech Law Group Not Off The Hook In $10M Malpractice Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (August 16, 2013, 10:59 PM ET) -- A federal judge on Friday refused to toss a $10 million legal malpractice suit against Technology Law Group LLC, saying the firm's former client United States Telesis Inc. hadn't conceded to a motion to dismiss when it failed to file an opposition brief in time.

Technology Law had filed a motion asking the judge to rule that UST had conceded, but U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth refused to do so, noting UST's local counsel had withdrawn just prior to the filing deadline.
