CORRECTED: Crowley Pipeline Settles Trade Secrets Dispute

Law360, Dallas (August 29, 2013, 7:28 PM ET) -- A Texas state court judge on Tuesday dismissed a trade secrets case that accused the owner of defecting from his pipeline surveying company with its biggest clients to launch a competitor, after the parties reached a settlement.

Pipeline Services LP, a surveying, mapping and right-of-way acquisition provider for the pipeline industry, had also sued Crosstex Energy Services LP in the dispute, accusing the company, a former client, of helping launch Crowley Pipeline & Land Surveying LLC as a rival.
