$30M Fracking Tank Suit Moved To Colo. Court

Law360, New York (August 19, 2013, 9:38 PM EDT) -- An Alaska federal judge on Friday shipped oilfield equipment company Atigun Inc.’s $30 million suit over its purchase of allegedly defective water tanks to Colorado, saying the Alaskan court could wind up without jurisdiction over the case if it went to trial.

U.S. District Judge Sharon L. Gleason sent the case to a Colorado federal court over Atigun’s objections, granting a venue-transfer motion from Premier Oilfield Equipment Co. and two predecessor companies that stand accused of selling Atigun $6 million worth of shoddy trailer-mounted water tanks...
