Plaintiffs Want Treble Damages Kept In Auto Price-Fixing MDL

Law360, Los Angeles (August 19, 2013, 5:42 PM EDT) -- Class action plaintiffs suing two Taiwanese auto lights manufacturers for allegedly fixing prices urged a California federal judge to bar the companies from escaping a possible award of treble damages, saying they did not qualify for cooperating-defendant protections under a federal whistleblower law.
