FTC Head Vows To Ramp Up Privacy Pressure On Data Giants

Law360, New York (August 20, 2013, 9:48 PM ET) -- Federal Trade Commission Chairwoman Edith Ramirez said Monday that the agency is planning to step up its scrutiny of companies that compile large amounts of consumer data, while continuing to push for more power to regulate these companies' privacy practices.
