GE Reaches Deal With NJ Over Landfill Discharges

Law360, New York (August 21, 2013, 10:19 PM EDT) -- General Electric Co. has agreed to pay the state of New Jersey more than a quarter-million dollars to settle claims that it contaminated groundwater with volatile organic compounds and metals, according to a notice printed Wednesday in the New Jersey Register.
