GAO Shoots Down Beretta Protest Over Air Force Contract

Law360, New York (August 20, 2013, 5:06 PM EDT) -- The Government Accountability Office on Tuesday nixed Beretta USA Corp.'s bid protest against a $79.7 million U.S. Air Force contract for sniper rifles awarded to Remington Arms Co. LLC, rejecting the Maryland munitions maker's argument that its proposal was unfairly excluded from the competitive range.
