Detroit Bankruptcy Mediators Include Judges, Local Leader

Law360, New York (August 21, 2013, 2:57 PM ET) -- A team of current and former judges and a Detroit civic leader will mediate the major issues in Detroit’s historic bankruptcy proceedings, the lead mediator announced on Tuesday.

Three of the five mediators selected by Chief Judge Gerald Rosen, the head of the team, have lived in Detroit and four of them are current or former judges.
