Under 'Patent Troll' Deal, Minn. Can Vet Infringement Notices

Law360, New York (August 21, 2013, 5:51 PM ET) -- A so-called patent troll that has been the subject of investigations in at least three states after sending out mass mailings threatening businesses with infringement suits reached a unique settlement with the Minnesota attorney general's office Tuesday, empowering state authorities to vet such notices before they're sent.
