Sprint Nextel Workers Sue For Unpaid Commissions

Law360, New York (February 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A group of sales representatives have filed a nationwide class action against telecommunications company Sprint Nextel Corp., seeking hundreds of thousands of dollars in unpaid sales commissions.

The four named plaintiffs, who worked as sales representatives, or "retail consultants," in the company's Louisiana stores, claim they and their fellow commission-based workers have not been paid all their dues since the $36 billion merger between Sprint Corp and Nextel Communications in 2005.
