Highmark Offers To Nix Ads If UPMC Negotiates New Deal

Law360, Philadelphia (August 23, 2013, 4:49 PM ET) -- In a letter to the ranking Democrat on the Pennsylvania House of Representatives Insurance Committee, officials with insurer Highmark Inc. said Wednesday they would consider dropping ads criticizing the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center if the health system would work to renew the insurance contract between the two.
