Pa. Judicial Conduct Board Claims Sole Power Over Judges

Law360, Philadelphia (August 26, 2013, 4:46 PM EDT) -- Pennsylvania’s Judicial Conduct Board said Friday that the state Supreme Court lacked the authority to investigate and punish judges for alleged ethical lapses, and asked that the justices distance themselves from ongoing proceedings involving two jurists wrapped up in the Philadelphia Traffic Court’s ticket-fixing scandal.
