Mich. Asks High Court To Rule On Fannie, Freddie Tax Fight

Law360, New York (August 26, 2013, 7:21 PM ET) -- The state of Michigan and two of its counties earlier this month asked the U.S. Supreme Court to weigh in on whether Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are subject to real estate transfer taxes and to clear up questions about the application of excise taxes on the two companies.
