GE Unit-Led Partnership Buys 50-MW Canadian Solar Plants

Law360, New York (August 26, 2013, 6:12 PM EDT) -- An investment partnership led by a General Electric Co. unit has bought three solar plant projects in Canada with a total capacity of 50 megawatts from Arizona-based solar panel maker First Solar Inc., the companies announced Monday.

The deal between First Solar and a partnership led by GE Energy Financial Services involves the sale of the Amherstburg, Belmont and Walpole projects in Ontario, according to a statement by First Solar.
