Entergy To Shutter Vermont Yankee Nuclear Plant

Law360, New York (August 27, 2013, 3:23 PM ET) -- Citing high costs and low natural gas prices, Entergy Corp. said Tuesday that it would close its Vermont Yankee nuclear plant in 2014, ending a long-running battle between the company and state officials and nuclear power safety groups who sought to shutter the plant.
