$112M Settlement OK'd In Int'l Price-Fixing Conspiracy Suits

Law360, New York (August 27, 2013, 10:13 PM ET) -- A New York federal judge Tuesday approved 10 settlement agreements establishing a $112 million fund and enabling a third of the freight-forwarding companies facing a suit over alleged international price-fixing conspiracies to exit the litigation.

Although U.S. District Judge John Gleeson signed off on the settlement deals, which each of the companies reached individually with the purchasers of their services, he denied the plaintiffs' attorneys' request for $37 million in fees.
