BP Move To Stop Spill Settlement Fund Payments Denied

Law360, New York (August 28, 2013, 3:29 PM ET) -- A Louisiana federal judge on Wednesday denied BP PLC’s bid to halt payments from a Deepwater Horizon oil spill settlement fund over alleged conflicts of interest by attorneys overseeing claim appeals, saying the conflicts were already being resolved by the court and didn’t warrant suspending the claims program.
