Wal-Mart Extends Employee Benefits To Same-Sex Couples

Law360, New York (August 28, 2013, 6:59 PM ET) -- Wal-Mart Stores Inc. will expand its benefits package to cover full-time U.S. employees' domestic partners, including partners of the same sex, the company told its workers on Monday.

The new policy is effective January 1, 2014, and applies to workers at Wal-Mart stores in all 50 states.
