ABC Hit With Suit Over Alleged Noose Incident

Law360, New York (February 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A black employee at ABC has sued ABC and parent company Walt Disney Co., alleging that supervisors allowed a noose display featuring a black doll to remain by his work station for well over a year.

On Monday, Oswald Wilson sued the companies in Manhattan district court, contending that the hangman's exhibit was rigged in reaction to him tacking up a newspaper clip celebrating Black History Month.

"Such a hateful display was incredibly offensive to him as an African-American man," the complaint stated, according to Reuters....
