Pa. Lottery Privatization Bid Extended Through October

Law360, Philadelphia (August 29, 2013, 3:02 PM ET) -- Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett continues to work to salvage a proposed vendor contract with British firm Camelot Global Services PA LLC to privatize the $3.5 billion state lottery, as the state again extended the deadline on the bid proposal with Camelot on Wednesday.

The extension keeps the proposed deal alive until Oct. 29, while the state's Department of Revenue tinkers with the contract, which was rejected by Attorney General Kathleen Kane in February.
